Lake Powhatan Campground and Recreational Area is located just minutes from downtown Asheville offering great accessibility to different parts of town and many of the area's primer attractions. The campground offers 98 campsites (some having FHU or electricity) and 12 glamping tents. The facility also offers a large Day Use are with public swimming area, fishing pier and picnic area. The campground is open year-round.
